TGIF! I don’t know what it was about this work week but it went by soooo slowww. Now that it’s May I’m starting to pull out the summer gear, but with the way this weather has been lately, I never know how to dress. It goes from hot and sunny one day to cold and rainy the next. Gotta love New York.
That’s why I’m loving off the shoulder tops right now. They work perfectly for transitioning from Spring into Summer. When I saw this top it instantly made me happy. I will definitely be bringing this on vacation with me in a few weeks! I love how you can pair it with jeans and heels or shorts and sandals. It wasn’t warm enough for shorts this week, so I styled it with my all-time favorite black distressed jeans. I wear these way too much. They are high waisted, which are basically the only kind of jeans I wear anymore because I find they are more flattering on my body type. They really just suck your mid section in. Ladies, you know what I’m talking about.
These Jeffery Campbell shoes are SO comfortable. I wore these shopping all day and they didn’t hurt my feet at all. I know I’m going to get some great use out of these because they work for Spring, Summer and Fall.
I love layering my necklaces and the majority of them are from Forever 21. If you haven’t checked out their necklaces yet you need to! They are all so affordable, so you wont feel guilty about buying a few at once. I’ve had this Michael Kors watch for years now. This gem survived our house fire and is still as shiny and beautiful as before. I wear it almost everyday. I wear my Alex and Ani bracelets everyday too. I have four total and they were all gifts from my mom on different occasions. I love that each one represents something different. I’ll randomly look down at them during the day and remember their significance. One of them is a special edition, but I’ll link the other three below.
Now, my mom and I are about to kick off Mother’s day weekend by going to see the new Amy Schumer movie, “Snatched”. We usually skip dinner when we go to the movies so that we won’t feel as bad about each getting our own popcorn with extra butter. Anyone else ever go to the movies just for the popcorn? 🙂
We have some fun activities planned this weekend with the moms that I’ll share with you all soon. Have a wonderful weekend, and happy Mother’s day to all the mommas out there!! Thanks so much for reading !
